Praise is the Answer

The Lord woke me up at 3am. I said, "Lord. What is it?" He said, "Praise is the answer." I went back to sleep.

The Lord woke me up at 5am. I said, "Lord. What is it?" He said, "Praise is the answer." I went back to sleep.

The Lord woke me up at 7am. I said, "Lord. What is it?" He said, "Praise is the answer." I stayed awake.

I asked The Lord, "If praise is the answer, what is the question?"

The Lord said, "It does not matter what the question is. Praise is always the answer."

I said, "But Lord, I have many questions in my soul. Why is praise the answer?"

The Lord said, "Because I am in the praise of my people, and I am the answer to all their questions."

It was as if Psalm 22:3 spent the night with me and explained Itself to me the next morning.The NHEB translation puts Psalm 22:3 this way. "But you are holy, you who inhabit the praises of Israel." The NEV puts it this way. "Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel." Our praise not only opens the door in to His Presence, but aligns our souls with Heaven's design, where we humbly submit to His Lordship and Holiness. There is no purer posture or encounter than that.

Praise is the answer.
